We had so much fun this morning! Today was the first day of our VIP Breakfast/Book Fair. Students and families in kindergarten and first grade were able to enjoy an amazing breakfast served by our own Earlville Cafeteria.

We want to give a big D2E shoutout to our National Honor Society, our Floral Design Class, PTA, and the cheerleaders for the extra help in making today a success.

Tomorrow we will be welcoming second and third grade to the breakfast and Thursday will be fourth and fifth grade.

Your voice matters, and we are asking for just a few minutes of your time to help strengthen our schools.

The 2026 Illinois 5Essentials Supplemental Parent Survey is now open. This confidential survey, conducted by the Illinois State Board of Education in partnership with the University of Chicago and Panorama, provides valuable feedback on key areas that support student success, including effective leadership, strong family and community connections, and a supportive learning environment. The survey closes on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Complete the Survey- https://surveys.panoramaed.com/earlville9/3780382344/surveys

To unlock survey results for each school, we must achieve at least 20% participation from parents and guardians at that school. Reaching this threshold is critical because the results help guide school improvement efforts and directly inform decisions that impact your students’ educational experience.
Earlville Early Learning Center (EELC and Preschool students)
Earlville Elementary (Grades Kindergarten - 5th)
Earlville Junior High (Grades 6th - 8th)
Earlville High School (Grades 9th - 12th)

We strongly encourage every family to participate. When families share their perspectives, it helps us grow, improve, and better serve our students. We do understand and appreciate the fact that you just completed the Blue Ribbon Survey, and we would appreciate it if you could complete this survey individually for each of your children. Thank you in advance for helping us to continue to be D2E!

Huge D2E shoutout to JP Goodbred! JP was recognized for going above and beyond to take care of our school. Comments include; "JP shovels snow outside of the school to keep the sidewalks safe. Comes in at 6 am on mornings of potential ice to check for areas that need salt. Volunteers to help with tasks around the building without complaints. Helps with groundskeeping to keep facilities looking nice. Takes out the trash at high school lunch to help out the custodial staff. Whether it be setting up tables or helping to set up a PE game for the day, you know that it will be done and complete by the time you need it." Thank you JP for being D2E!

This month, we are proud to recognize an 7th grade student who demonstrates outstanding self discipline skills. Mila Boyer, daughter of Brandon Boyer and Alexis Carlton, was selected as our Student of the Month for the February Portrait of a Graduate Pillar of Self Discipline. Teacher comments include “She consistently demonstrates strong self-discipline through her ability to set ambitious goals and stay committed to achieving them. She remains focused, motivated, and persistent, even when tasks are difficult or require extra effort. Mila takes responsibility for her actions and choices and holds herself to high standards. She manages her time effectively, stays on task, and follows through on expectations without needing reminders. In all senses of the phrase, she is a model student—academically, behaviorally, and in the way she treats others. When faced with challenges, she shows perseverance and self-control, choosing to stay engaged and work toward improvement rather than giving up. Most notably, she is committed to doing what is right, even when others are not. Her integrity, accountability, and self-discipline make her a positive role model for her peers and a truly deserving recipient of this award. Congratulations, you have earned a $5 gift certificate to the cafeteria, a T-shirt, and a yard sign.
