The primary mission of the Department of Food Services is to support the educational environment by providing balanced, nutritional meals to our students each day. Our entire staff is committed to offering a wide variety of meals that meet not only the nutritional needs, but also satisfy the wide ranging taste requirements of our students. We endeavor to provide this service in a clean, safe, student-friendly setting. Our staff is accessible and happy to answer questions or respond to concerns and/or suggestions of students, parents and staff.

On behalf of the Food Service staff, we look forward to serving the needs of our customers, the students and staff of Earlville Cusd 9.

School meals help students sustain energy they need to be successful in the classroom, however, many families who are experiencing financial difficulties cannot afford to keep money in their students lunch account. The School Meal Angel Fund seeks to provide short-term assistance to families in need by covering negative meal account balances and further ensuring no child goes home hungry.

Families are recommended for placement on the School Meal Angel Fund list by our social workers, counselors, health aides, administrators and faculty. After review by the Food Aervices Director to determine whether or not families qualify for State or Federal assistance, the Angel Fund is offered to assist families with paying off negative meal services account balances an providing future meals to their student if needed.
