Earlville Jr/Sr High School is pleased to announce that 2 students from the graduating class of 2024 have been designated as Illinois State Scholars. Emily Harness, daughter of Brandon and Lisa Harness, and Brooklynn Guelde, daughter of Scott and Robyn Guelde are this year's Illinois State Scholars.
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually. This year, more than 17,340 honorees join the other outstanding students who have been honored since the designation was first introduced in 1958.
The Illinois State Scholar acknowledgement is a non-monetary award. Each State Scholar designee receives a congratulatory letter and Certificate of Achievement from ISAC, and can download an official Illinois State Scholar badge to display on their online profiles and social media platforms, as well as share with their high school counselors, colleges, employers, family members and others.

Just a reminder for any JH (Tuesday) HS (Wednesday) students attending the Kalahari PE field trip. Kalahari is cashless but the kids get a free lunch (large pizza slice and drink). The bus leaves the parking lot at 7am sharp.

Reminder Friday 11/3 is an 11:18 early out. We have our training with LaSalle County Police, Earlville Police and Fire. Please remember all students need to be off the property by 12:00 so we can complete our training. (EELC and the Afterschool program, you will remain in the other building)

Huge D2E shoutout to our HS PE classes! This week they are helping us to prepare for the transformation of our weightroom and library. Less than 2 weeks until the spaces are completed ❤️🖤 It is a great learning experience when the students have a vested interest in the change!

We had a false fire alarm today. The Earlville Police and Fire Department came to the school to ensure safety. The whole incident lasted less than 5 minutes. Thank you.

JH Boys Basketball faced Lisbon tonight. 7th grade won 38-17. 8th grade lost 17-37.
Such a fun day! Our first ever whole school Rock, Paper, Scissors Day. Huge D2E shoutout to Ava and Lia for being the top JH and Colton and Easton for being the top HS. Lia won for JH and overall, Colton won for HS! Thank you to everyone that played ❤️🖤
