The Earlville FFA Discovery members (8th graders) held our annual ICE Day on November 21st to raise money to purchase Christmas presents for the Lions Club Christmas Tree located at NuMark Bank in Earlville. Our goal was to raise $450 which was slightly higher than last year's total raised. We would like to take the time to thank all of the students and parents who sent money to purchase either an ice cream cup for elementary students or a root beer float for junior high & high school students because we blew away our goal by raising just over $500 this year. We will send an update once we purchase all the gifts. Thank you again for all of your generosity to help support such a great cause this holiday season.
We are working on a portrait of a graduate of Earlville CUSD 9 and are seeking community input. For the first phase, we are interested in hearing general ideas of what skills or attributes you would like students to graduate Earlville with. Huge D2E shoutout to Sophie on volunteering her time to make a difference! Sophie represented Freezin for a Reezin yesterday. They are collecting food or monetary donations next Friday at 1430 WCMY for the annual food and donation drive for Community Food Basket of Ottawa.

Everyone come out of your houses and get along the parade route! We are going to have a parade through town to congratulate our champions! The parade will start at 9:30 and then come into town following the normal route. I will be Facebook live!

Earlville boys defeated Grant Park 53-27 Wednesdays night at the Dwight Thanksgiving Tournament.
Ryan Browder had 15 points
Adam Waite had 11 points
Griffin Cook had 10 points.
Earlville is now 3-0 overall and will play in the Championship game Saturday, November 25th at 6:30 at Streator Woodland.
