Today the 5th and 6th grade switched. The 6th grade students discussed with the 5th grade all about JH. Then the 5th grade ran the 6th grade schedule all day. This is a great way to learn the ropes hands on!

April Student of the Month:
Huge D2E shoutout to Scott Brandt. Scott is a Freshman and the son of Scott Brandt Sr. He was selected as the student of the month based on his responsibility and willingness to help others as well as be a leader among his peers. Teacher comments include, "Scott is very helpful and always eager to help out in anyway possible in the classroom or with other school activities. He is a willing participant in class discussions and finishes his work on time. Scott also takes time to help other students in class who needs it." "Gives 100% every single day. Always has a outstanding attitude no matter what is asked of him." "Scott brings a positive energy to class where he participates effectively and responds well to criticism. He is consistently prepared for class and demonstrates maturity for beyond his years. Scott is upbeat and responds well to challenges brought to him." Congratulations Scott, you have earned a $5 gift card, swag bag, and preferred parking.

The softball game scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 4/18, will be a double header againt IMSA starting at 4:00.
What is D2E? D2E means Dedicated to Excellence. A community member came in today to inform me of these 4 students. They were at the park and were observed being D2E. This community member was so moved by their behavior, that they came to the school to let me know and give each kid a $20 gift card. Huge D2E shoutout Isaac, Scott, Landon, Louie ❤️🤍

Due to the weather, the Softball and Baseball games for today have been canceled. The HS Track meet for today has also been canceled.
Softball and Track will practice today.
Baseball will not practice today.
Hopefully our weather is better tomorrow.

Also, the Softball game in Earlville against IMSA will not start until 4:45.
