We completed our first week of HS Exploratory Learning. We surveyed the HS students to find their interests and every week the students can sign up to pursue activities of interest. This first week was cooking- the students made and decorated cake pops.





Winifred Hoffman teaching some 4th grade students how to play the harpsichord. Mrs. Hoffman is part of Generation Exchange, if you are interested in learning more about the problem please contact us.



Huge D2E shoutout to Senior, Trenton Fruit, son of Nathan and Jenette Fruit, for being selected as Earlville High School's January Student of the Month. Trenton was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- "good kid that I have seen working very hard this year and have come a long way since freshmen year. I believe he has made significant changes to his academic choices that has made him a better student and better person!" “well-rounded, respectful, hard worker,” “really applying himself and having a great year academically, great class participation.” He earned a $5 gift card and a sign for his yard!

Carlos was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. HS Girls defeated Hiawatha in the Consolation Champsionship in the Little Ten Conference Tournament with a score of 41-38.

HS Boys defeated AFC tonight 74-36.
Griffin Cook 23 points-8 assists- 7 steals

Earlville will play Tuesday, 1/30 at 5:30 in Somonauk against the winners of Newark vs. Hiawatha.

Earlville defeated Alden-Hebron tonight 65-33.
Griffin Cook 22 points-11 rebounds-4 assists
Ryan Browder 17 points- 4 steals- 3 assists

Trenton Fruit had 5 assists.
They are now 18-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.

HS Boys defeated Somonauk in a conference game tonight 61-48.
Griffin Cook led the team with a triple double of 16 points-11 assists-10 rebounds and also had 5 steals
Adam Waite 15 points-13 rebounds
Trenton Fruit 13 points
Ryan Browder 9 points.
They are now 17-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
HS Girls lost to Somonauk in the first round of the Little Ten Conference Tournament 29-21.
Madyson Olson 15 points 8 rebounds 3 steals
Natalie Hall 3 points 10 rebounds 5 steals.
They will play in the Consolation Championship on Friday at 5:00 pm.

The HS Girls Tournament game at Indian Creek against Somonauk/Leland will be played at 5:30 tonight instead of 7:00 pm. Bus will leave at 4:30. The girls will have a shoot around at 3:30 today before the bus leaves.
The HS Boys game at Somonauk will be played as scheduled. The bus will leave at 4:30.
The JH Girls Basketball game at Paw Paw on Wednesday, 1/17, has been rescheduled until February 27th. The girls will practice after school.
