Thank you to the students who joined Mrs. Marks at the Apprenticeship Expo at Painters District Council No. 30 in Aurora yesterday. They learned a lot about exploring careers in the trades through conversations and hands-on demonstrations with professionals.

HS Red Raider Results Rockford East defeated the HS Girls tonight with a score of 50 - 43 Madyson Olson 25 points 16 rebounds  Addie Scherer 6 points Natalie Hall 2 points 6 rebounds 4 assists 

HS Red Raider Results IMSA defeated the High School Girls Basketball team tonight 39 - 29. Madyson Olson 19 points 7 rebounds 4 steals Ryleigh Dixon 5 points 8 rebounds 

JH Red Raider Results Both 7th Grade and 8th Grade boys defeated Paw Paw tonight.

Today our students went to the “Apprenticeship Expo.” Here the students were able to learn about different trades, and talk to different companies. It’s a great way for students to learn about the trades, with a hands on approach.

The weight room is not done yet, but the kids are enjoying it already ❤️🖤 Here is another sneak peek, I will post once it’s completed.

Earlville Jr/Sr High School is pleased to announce that 2 students from the graduating class of 2024 have been designated as Illinois State Scholars. Emily Harness, daughter of Brandon and Lisa Harness, and Brooklynn Guelde, daughter of Scott and Robyn Guelde are this year's Illinois State Scholars. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually. This year, more than 17,340 honorees join the other outstanding students who have been honored since the designation was first introduced in 1958. The Illinois State Scholar acknowledgement is a non-monetary award. Each State Scholar designee receives a congratulatory letter and Certificate of Achievement from ISAC, and can download an official Illinois State Scholar badge to display on their online profiles and social media platforms, as well as share with their high school counselors, colleges, employers, family members and others.
