This message is to inform you that a group of high school students were overheard alluding to the possibility of a weapon that may be present in a student's backpack. Administration was immediately informed and these students were brought to the office. After a thorough investigation the reports of a weapon were unsubstantiated. In working together with the Earlville Police Department, we are confident that at no time was the safety of students or staff in any danger. This issue has been resolved. We want to remind everyone the importance of always practicing "if you see something, say something." Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
