FOOD SERVICE PROGRAMS

Earlville CUSD 9 participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. This year we would like to inform you we have opted to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program.

What does this means for you and your children attending?

Great news for you and your student.

All enrolled students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no charge to you or your household each day of this school year. No further action is required for you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

MEAL SERVICE

Breakfast students who commute to school by any means other then bus should plan to arrive no later than 7:45 A.M. to allow enough time to finish eating before the first bell at 8:00 A.M.

Students planning to have lunch are required to order lunch the first hour in the their classroom.

Breakfast Hours Monday - Friday while school is in session 7:30 - 8:00 am.

Lunch Hours Monday - Friday while school is in session 11:15 am- 12:45 pm

Smart Snacks and Entrée (A La Carte) Items:

Offered daily to students. Student must have money on their lunch accounts in order to make purchases.

All items sold A La Carte meet the required guidelines of being Smart Snack.

Funds must be available in student food service account for Ala Cart purchases. Students bringing cold lunch must have money on his/her lunch account to purchase milk.

Students/Parents/Guardians. Funds can be paid in advance via Illinois E-Pay or through the school office with a check (if allowable) or cash. Please be sure to clearly mark the students’ name on the envelope, if payment is for multiple students please clearly mark the amount to be distributed into the appropriate student account. Online payment may take up to a day to appear in student lunch account.

School Cafeteria possess computerized point of sale/cash register system that maintain records of all monies deposited and spent for each student and said records are available via Skyward Family/Student Access.

Parents/Guardians have the option to set daily spending limits on their students food service account. Parents can also request certain items be restricted from purchase.
